Child and Adolescent Psychologists

Watson Psychology provides support for children and adolescents aged 3-17, and their families. Based in Lower Plenty, Victoria, our team of dedicated Psychologists are experienced in supporting wellbeing, development and learning. We provide assessment and intervention using a strengths-based, inclusive approach, where the voice of the client is at the centre of everything we do.

Accessing services at Watson Psychology:

Fees:

Watson Psychology is a private Psychology service, for which fees are payable.​ Payment for services is expected on the day of your appointment.

 The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) recommended fee for Psychological services lasting 40-60 minutes is $330.

Watson Psychology has set a session fee of $230 for a 60-minute session (50 minutes with the client and 10 minutes for note-taking).

Fees for assessments will be discussed and agreed upon on an individual basis.

Rebates:

​Our Psychologists are registered Medicare providers. The current Medicare rebate for a registered Psychologist is $98.95. You may be eligible for rebates via the following:

  • Mental Health Treatment Plan

  • Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders

  • Eligible Disabilities Pathway​

​Check with your private Health Fund if you have psychology as an extra.

NDIS:

​Self-managed or plan-managed NDIS clients are eligible to access services from Watson Psychology. You will be billed according to the NDIS schedule of fees.

 

​​Cancellations

We understand life can throw us curveballs. We ask you to provide 48 business hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us time to offer the space to other clients who are waiting for appointments. 

Appointment reminders are sent via email two days prior to the scheduled appointment.
